Meet Sherry!
Denbigh Baptist Church is excited to welcome inspirational storyteller and motivational keynote speaker, Sherry Boykin. She is a chronic believer in the power of faith narratives and especially epilogues to change lives. As a transplanted, native New Yorker, her experiences in urban and suburban ministries, Peruvian Amazon jungle missions, long-term singleness, marriage & family, and men’s dorm-living shape her life and provide a colorful backdrop from which to speak on transformation, restoration, foreign missions, forgiveness, and abuse.
Sherry is the author of But-Kickers: Growing Your Faith Bigger Than Your But. Many of her personal stories can be found in online magazines including Inspire a Fire and Catapult Magazine.
Sherry and Ted have been married twenty years and are the proud, exhausted, parents of a Gen-Z-er and dorm parents to 50 college guys. Their therapist says they’ll be fine.
